Location: Atelier at Strathberry Head Office (central Edinburgh)
Hours: Part-time (c. 20-24 hours/week, with some flexibility on working pattern)

About the role:
We are seeking a talented Leather Artisan to effectively manage our in-house Atelier in Edinburgh. Supporting Strathberry’s core focus on craftsmanship, you will work closely with the design team and workshops to create new collection samples. Reporting into the Head of Sourcing & Supply, you will also support with repairing and refreshing post-purchase product for our customers, helping to extend their longevity.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strathberry team which values creativity, quality, craftsmanship, teamwork, and leadership. The successful candidate will undergo a training programme in Spain on how to deliver our high standards.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day Atelier tasks.
* Repair and refresh our customer bags.
* Effectively manage raw material stock levels with PD and Production teams.
* Work on new style development with the design team, creating salpas for review.
* Liaise closely with our QC specialist in Spain on returns/repairs to help improve product.
* Support in ongoing review of existing silhouettes to consider improvements in silhouette longevity
* Work with the PR/Marketing team to welcome guests/ press / influencers into the Atelier and showcase our craftsmanship
* Attend events and support with event activity, as required - e.g personalisation
Role Requirements:
* Experience working in luxury leather goods.
* Pattern cutting and sewing skills experience.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills. Spanish language skills desirable but not essential.
