Role: Senior Quality Engineer
Location: North Yorkshire (Full-time onsite)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 830am - 430pm ; Friday 8am – 1pm
Salary: Up to £50,000/Year + Benefits
I am looking for a senior quality engineer to join a leading manufacturer ofposites within the aerospace and marine industries. You will be working in a collaborative team that specialise within bespoke one-off designs and low-volume manufacture of specialist mission-critical parts. This position will be focused towards stakeholder management, but requires a background within engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Business Development by reviewing requests for quotations and contracts to ensure they fulfil all customer and regulatory requirements.
2. Actively engage in project meetings to identify and advise on potential quality concerns.
3. Ensure that all management system documentation ispliant.
4. Produce and maintain quality plans for new projects, where needed.
5. Identify and conduct audit requirements (internal and supplier / subcontractor) and capture these in the audit schedule to ensurepliance
6. Support project non-conformance recovery and closure through defined QMS procedures.
7. Support NCR activities, MRB meetings and customerplaint resolution to ensure root cause is established and containment /corrective actions are
8. Conducting visits when required.
9. Identify and present opportunities for improvement, including advising and training of personnel in matters of quality, regulation and industry best practice.
10. Conducting Customer Investigations and Liaising with customer representatives and assisting production departments with quality matters.
11. Processing applications for the granting and renewal of personnel approvals, prior to submission to the Head of Quality
Requirements:
12. Manufacturing / aerospace environment experience (ideal)
13. Emphasis on stakeholder management
14. Working with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
15. Experience of the implementation of quality tools and techniques relating to production controls and design assurance ( FMEA)
16. Continuous improvement knowledge
17. Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving
18. Ability to work inboth specialist quality and integrated product teams
19. Hold a full UK driving license.
20. Willing to visit Customer/Supplier, ad hoc meetings.
21. Have the correct right to work, without expiry. Sponsorship is not available with this client
22. Able toplete security clearance
