How you will make an impact:
In this role you will be participating in Planning Maintenance activities throughout our production footprint. You will engage with colleagues at multiple levels and from several subject areas, to work together to ensure we deliver an exciting and robust production facility to our clients.
You will take accountability for maintenance planning activities (planned and unplanned), utilising operational excellence and continuous improvement activities. To improve equipment reliability and ensure minimal equipment downtime. Looking ahead at looking to Condition Based Monitoring to step away from reactive work.
What you’ll do:
Conversant with all current and proposed regulations likely to be applied to the site and its processes. Work alongside Mechanical and Electrical Engineers in the management of technician workload to ensure all PM activities are completed on time and in full.
Handle the arrangement and scheduling of all non-production maintenance activities like: Buildings and services, Storage racking, Cooling and chiller systems, HVAC and LEV systems, Water systems, legionella.
Review and plan all internal/external Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive/Corrective works, for day-to-day operations and shut-down periods/weekends.
Support contractors with day-to-day activities, as well as statutory and regulatory compliance for the site.
Assist in sites quality control of its asset, through ensuring all calibrations and statutory records are kept up to date. ISO 9001
Assist with the control of contractors on site and the selection process for new contractors to site.
Assist in the operation of the site Permit to work system on a day to day basis, supported by the Engineering and HSE Managers on site.
Update the Engineering Department critical metrics to control and measure PM completion rate to plan / Schedule consistency to weekly plan / PM backlog / Safety incident close-out rate.
Allocate jobs using CMMS.
Handle and facilitate weekly meetings with Manufacturing Planners to ensure downtime is sufficiently understood.
Act as the Engineering “Gatekeeper” of CMMS Database, including management of the CMMS records and its database ensuring all information is on point.
Assist with asset records/data ensuring relevant information is accurate. An understanding of ISO 55001 would support this.
