Job Description
You will take full ownership of your key responsibilities and manage the day and evening team ensuring innovation and proactivity in finding solutions.
You will develop and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships to ensure the service delivered meets their expectations and is monitored through quality audits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the cleaning team and undertake day to day leadership and delivery of housekeeping services supporting operational delivery at our client office
2. Prepare cleaning schedules and allocation of tasks, managing staff rotas, as well as managing holidays and sickness
3. Work as a team member fulfilling the duties assigned by the Key Account Manager under their guidance and deputising where necessary
4. Manage periodic schedules to prepare for specialist cleans etc
5. Manage the cleaning equipment, consumables and materials and reporting of any repairs required to the management team
6. Oversee the stock take and ordering of all consumables and materials in line with agreed budgets
7. Responsible for training, regular inspections of all areas to ensure a high quality of cleaning standards are maintained, continuously review and introduce cleaning best practice
8. Take responsibility and ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are followed as per company policies and procedures which will include accident reporting / investigation, toolbox talks etc
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Substantial operational cleaning experience and knowledge of COSHH
10. Previous management or supervisory experience within a cleaning operation
11. Must have worked in a busy office / fast paced environment
12. BICS qualified (Desirable)
13. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
14. Excellent timekeeping and excellent attention to detail
15. Highly flexible and able to adapt in an ever-changing environment
16. PC Literate with competency in Microsoft Office applications
