About The Role
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Operations Director to join the Sunbelt Rentals leadership team for Trakway.
The Operations Director is central to the delivery of our strategic objectives and will offer you the opportunity to drive improvements to our customer service capability, provide leadership and focus and enable the business to operate more collaboratively and efficiently.
As Operations Director, your key responsibilities are to direct and control the Trakway Operations business, giving strategic guidance, vision, and direction to the Director of Trakway to ensure the Trakway business unit achieves its mission and objectives. Supporting our Service Centres to improve the customer experience and achieve operational efficiencies. You’ll also work closely with the Regional Sales Director to develop and deliver the growth plan for your Region, ensuring that financial and operational performance is achieved and wherever possible exceeded.
Providing strategic leadership and management to a profit generating operational delivery team and develop business relationships to ultimately increase Trackway's market share. You will also bring together teammates to drive the business towards a culture of “Total Customer Excellence”.

What will you need to succeed in the Operations Director role?
1. A proven track record in a senior operational delivery role where you have delivered strategic aims and driven efficiencies and change to achieve these goal
2. A customer-centric approach with experience of delivering an exceptional customer experience
3. Strong commercial skills and business acumen with excellent financial planning and budget management skills
4. Demonstrable experience of determining policy and procedures
5. Experience of delegation
6. Organisational skills to ensure work is completed by self and team within required timeframes
7. Demonstrable experience of operating at managerial and strategic level
8. Evidence of completing work in line with project objectives
9. Strong business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the operational environment and external factors, including demonstrable experience of key financial metrics that drives growth in regards to ROI and operating profit
10. Ability to understand and manage complex business/financial data and help others do the same
Desirable
11. Demonstrable and extensive knowledge of Trakway, Barriers and Fencing, and Bridging industry covering operations
12. Understanding of the product range at SBR Trakway including specification
13. A track record of challenging current thinking and embedding cultural and business change programmes
14. Experience of the Operational Experience programme (or similar) with a record of delivering continuous operational improvement
