About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced plasterer to join our team in Exeter. Working with Exeter City Council on a variety of residential works, including occupied, void properties, and communal areas, our team produces work to the highest standards and delivers outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities include all aspects of repairs, from minor repairs to whole house refurbishments, which may involve patching leaks or applying whole plaster finishes due to the age of the properties. This will also include external works, such as sand and cement renders.
Ensure that the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and both internal/external stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, appearance, company ID, condition of vehicles, and maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety requirements. It may be necessary, when requested, to obtain customer feedback on completion of works.
Process all activities associated with tasks/works electronically utilizing a handheld device (PDA). This includes, but is not limited to, worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence of works before, during, and after, van stock replenishment, booking of annual leave, vehicle inspections, safeguarding issues, risk assessments, and method statements.
Participate in call-out cover if and when required to ensure contract compliance and service user satisfaction for emergency repairs.
Role Criteria:
* Able to complete a clean job
* Good knowledge of all plastering backgrounds, including damp issues
* Good knowledge and experience with hack-off bonding, multi-finish, dot and dab, ceilings, artex, and damp proofing
* UK full driving license
