Role Description Bambridge Lee are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join our ever-growing team. Bambridge Lee prides itself on customer retention and building long-standing relationships with clients which has enabled to grow rapidly into a well respected M&E Contractor covering numerous markets. Our projects range from £5k to £5M and vary in both sector and discipline, so this is a varied and interesting role ideal for a proactive candidate. This is a hybrid role with a mixture of site visits, office work and working from home. The Electrical Project Manager role plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating electrical installations and activities primarily on construction sites. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a team of electricians. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple electrical projects, working closely with the site management to complete works from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure that electrical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of electrical projects. Plan, schedule, and manage electrical projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues that arise. Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly. Provide regular updates to clients on project status and progress. Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets industry standards, regulations, and client specifications. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and documentation. Health and Safety: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all project sites. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, plans, schedules, and reports. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards. Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Financial Acumen: Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing issues. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of work. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software and other relevant IT tools.
