We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our dynamic team in Desborough. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct planned maintenance, inspections, and improvements of mechanical and electrical systems.
2. Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing issues effectively to minimize downtime.
3. Participate in project work, including the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of equipment.
4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with both internal and regulatory standards.
5. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to communicate maintenance issues and results, ensuring transparency.
6. Provide support to fellow engineers as needed, fostering a smooth and efficient workflow.
7. Manage spare parts requests and liaise with manufacturers for technical guidance.
8. Ensure smooth shift handovers to maintain the facility's continuous operation.
9. Keep work areas clean and organized to uphold a safe and efficient environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven experience in fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of industrial machinery.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
3. Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and technical documents.
4. Solid knowledge of steam, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with skills in PLC fault finding.
