The Consultation work involves assisting the team to collate all the Council policies around School Admissions as well as ensuring and monitoring that all schools have complied with the necessary duties on their own admissions arrangements. The role also has responsibility for maintaining various elements of the School Admissions website - ensuring all statutory information is available to parents when they are researching and applying for school places.
The post will also have opportunities to work with our central data-base that manages the school place allocations. Full training will be provided on IT systems and Council processes.
