Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? A welcoming primary school in Burntwood is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a reception class student with SEN.
Role Overview:
* Start Date: January 2025
* End Date: July 2025
* Full-time role supporting a reception class child on a one-to-one basis.
* Focus on fostering the child's development, independence, and inclusion in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of the child.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and SEN coordinators to implement strategies and support plans.
* Foster a nurturing and engaging environment to encourage the child’s learning and social development.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
* Have prior experience supporting children with SEN, preferably in an early years setting.
* Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* Be patient, empathetic, and committed to making a difference in the child’s educational journey.
