A leading client of ours in the food and drink industry is looking for a Hygiene Manager due to recent expansions within the business. This role is the perfect opportunity for you to drive change and have your own impact within the Hygiene department.
You will lead change within the team and ensure that the Hygiene team are all managed efficiently, and training is implemented across the factory floor.
Responsibilities:
You will directly manage the hygiene team and be in charge of coordinating the scheduled cleaning of the factory.
Manage the hygiene budget and ordering of equipment and chemicals.
Ensure that all effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are in place for all hygiene tasks.
Manage the hygiene contractors, food safety audits and compliance standards.
Be present for all external audits such as BRC and retailers.
Implement training across the factory floor.
Requirements:
Proven experience within a similar role is essential.
Minimum 3+ years' experience working within Hygiene
Previous experience working with BRC and retailer standards.
Product experience is flexible
Ability to lead and develop a team to drive standards forward.
Salary - £35,000-£45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
