Bill of Materials Engineer
Location: Crawley or Bristol

Our Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for a Bill of Materials Engineer to join Thales Above Water Systems (AWS). You will be responsible for the input and update of Engineering data into to Thales UK Product Lifecycle Management tool, as well as reviewing the integrity, validity and maintenance of documents relating to the data.
You will be the point of contact for all business functions relating to Product items in the PLM tool, including functional, allocated and product baselines, problem requests, engineering changes outstanding tasks and notices.
As well as this, you will run reports and analyse data sets against Design review documentation. Additionally, you will become a configuration management tool (PLM) expert providing reports and metrics to the Programme Management team.
About You
6. You will ideally have experience of PLM toolsets for example Windchill/Teamcenter.
7. You are able to read Design Drawings and identify a part breakdown structure
8. You foster continuous improvement and encourage a culture of feedback
9. You are able to multi-task and prioritise without requiring regular direct supervision
10. You will be someone who is process driven, methodical, analytical and detail oriented.
11. You are a communicator and a team player: you are willing to help and establish strong relationships with the rest of the team
12. You have the ability to establish and meet deadlines
13. You understand the importance of data integrity
Security Clearance statement
This role will require full SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
