The post-holder will be a post-graduate qualified Clinical Psychologist with HCPC registration. This post is suitable for a newly qualified Clinical Psychologist who is looking to work with Neurodivergent Children and Young People. The post-holder will provide clinical assessments of Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for Children and Young People.
They will work within the multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based assessments in line with NICE guidance and be expected to be the lead practitioner for some assessments.
The post-holder will contribute to wider multi-agency discussions and meetings to discuss individual cases and collaborative working across Community Paediatrics and partner services, e.g., CAMHS. They will also contribute to service development and research under the supervision of the Senior Clinical Psychologist, continuously working towards providing an improved service to the children and young people in Essex. This may include pre and post-diagnostic work as well as training to key partners such as education settings.
