Position:
An opportunity has arisen for two Ward Clerical Officers based at University Hospital Ayr on a fixed term/secondment basis for 9 months.
What you will do:
Duties include the maintenance and filing of patients' confidential records, recording patient-related data, admissions, and booking out-patient appointments using the computerised Patient Management System. Providing reception services, answering telephones, and relaying messages. You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Candidates should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.
Hours:
Post 1: 24.7hrs
Monday-Thursday 8am – 1pm
Friday 8am – 12.40pm
Post 2: 19.8hrs
Monday-Thursday 1pm – 5pm
Friday 1pm – 4.44pm
