The apprenticeship scheme is open to individuals who are 18 and above however applicants aged 17+ can also apply as long as they turn 18 by the time they start.

What to expect
The current apprenticeship's offers an opportunity for a Level 3 Qualification Business Administration in the following area, please see the attached job descriptions for further information:
* 1x EMSOU lab technician
* The 18-to-24-month scheme aims to equip apprentices with various skills and knowledge across a wide academic area, whilst gaining an insight into how police staff, support officers work on the frontline.
What are the hours and pay?
Nottinghamshire Police apprentices will be employed on an 18-to-24-month contract. The working week is 37 hours however as part of the apprenticeship you will be allocated 20% of this time to study. You'll be paid a living wage on this apprenticeship to allow you the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and experience in the support staff functions of Nottinghamshire Police, giving you the chance to become a valued member of one of our many departments within Headquarters.
What is the recruitment process?
This apprenticeship programme will be open to individuals who have the drive, ambition, and desire to contribute to the success of the Police Service.
As part of the application, process candidates are required to complete a series of questions and a 500-word supporting statement. When completing this please evidence your skillset against the role profile, which is attached to this advert. CV's will not be accepted.
* Shortlisting will take based on questions and statement provided.
* Successful candidates will be shortlisted and then be invited to interview.
* If you have passed the interview, conditional offers are made, subject to references, vetting and medical.

* Vetting: Nottinghamshire Police vetting you will request some information from you to commence you individual vetting checks
* Medical: You will be required to complete a medical questionnaire.
Educational requirements
Minimum requirements to apply for this role are 5 GCSE's A*- C. Candidates will have the opportunity to attach their qualifications during the online application. Individuals who have not yet obtained their GCSE results are required to attach their predicted grades.
In addition to attaching your qualifications, you also need to ensure that you attach the relevant reference information.
