Salary £65,000 - £70,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance

An exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join a Regional Main Contractor in the Shrewsbury area. As a regional UK contractor my client has a diversified workload across different sectors such as Industrial, Commercial, Retail & more. Boasting a strong reputation for providing whole-life solutions, high standards of project delivery, and an ability to innovate.
My client enjoys a c£70 million turnover (split equally between Build & Civils) with their projects valued up to £20 Mil covering a range of sectors including Industrial, Logistics, Commercial, Retail & more.
The ideal candidate will be a Site Manager and will join the Building Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a regional Main Contractor doing small works with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects. About The Role:
As a Site Manager, you will lead and manage the on-site team of Sub-Contractors and suppliers to deliver high quality projects safely, efficiently and in alignment with the client requirements, project programmes and with budgeted costs.
Liaising with the Senior Site Manager & Project Manager to drive a consistent & proactive approach to health & safety on site Manage hazards & risks. You will ensure all contractors & visitors are thoroughly inducted onto sites and monitor the progress of project programme. Build an understanding of the project budgets to drive efficiencies and oversee contractor performance.
About You:
•Experience working as a Site Manager
•Experience working for a Main Contractor on schemes valued £5m +
•Experience in diverse sectors.
•Experience in new build & refurbishment
•Experience of speaking to clients at multiple levels
•Experience of managing sub-contractors effectively
•SMSTS and First Aid
•CSCS card
•Degree or HND Qualified or a Trades background.
