AtkinsClarke has been engaged on an exciting opportunity to secure a Finance Manager for a fast-growing, innovative business based in Worcestershire. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role offers autonomy over the finance team and the chance to drive improvements across the finance function. The company is set for rapid growth, with an international footprint and an ambitious strategy that includes upcoming M&A activity.

ROLE:
As Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a substantial impact on the finance team and overall financial performance. Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll oversee day-to-day financial operations, while identifying and implementing improvements to processes and controls. This role is well-suited for a motivated finance professional eager to make a difference in an expanding business, with clear progression opportunities as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
* Oversee the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
* Support the Finance Director with strategic planning and financial analysis.
* Implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
* Play a key role in M&A activity, supporting financial due diligence and integration of new acquisitions.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and manage external audits.
PERSON:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a background in a growing SME or international business. You will have a hands-on approach and a keen interest in supporting both operational and strategic initiatives.
Key Attributes:
* Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
* Strong analytical skills, with an eye for process improvement.
* Effective leadership qualities, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
* Experience with M&A activity is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the business.

* £40,000 - £50,000 salary based on experience.
