Job Description
MW Groundworks Ltd, a family-run business since 1992, is based in South Lanarkshire, Central Scotland. Over the years, we have established a strong financial foundation, enabling us to successfully deliver a wide range of projects across Scotland and Northern England, including Civil Engineering, Landscaping, and Site Clearance.
We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to assist our Contract Managers and Quantity Surveyors in pricing tenders, preparing estimates, and managing tasks following contract awards.
Main Responsibilities
* Identify tenders suitable for pricing
* Downloading tender documents.
* Analysis of tender requirement
* Provide detailed quotations
* Collation of information & completion of Bills of Quantities
* Preparation of tender submissions
* Log and track submitted tenders
* Approve & monitor successful tenders
* Facilitate post contract award handover to delivery teams
* Administration & filing tasks for Estimating Team.
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably in Procurement, Civil Engineering, or Estimating/Quantity Surveying roles.
* Valid driving licence.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritise workload.
* Interest in career development and progression.
