Job summary
The Winsford Care Community and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre integrated team has an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced forward thinking community therapist wishing to progress into a Team Leader role. This leadership role requires you to manage and co-ordinate the Community therapy services at Dene Drive PCC and in Elmhurst IC Centre and to be professionally accountable for the delivery of patient care by therapists within the integrated team. You would also be responsible for supervision of staff members and the quality of their work.
The role is a permanent Band 7 leadership role, and will focus on change management and continuous improvement of processes and service delivery. The role is full time but less hours will be considered. The successful candidate will be required to drive positive change and improvement as we look to further integrate the Dene Drive team and the Elmhurst IC team.
Main duties of the job
To deliver positive integrated change and improvement across the integrated Winsford team.
You will act as lead for patients with complex health needs, support the delivery of expert clinical care and providing clinical leadership to all team members within sphere of responsibility.
To work with the Community Operational Manager in the line management responsibility for both human and financial resources of the Community Therapy Team.
To be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring adherence to agreed policies, protocols and clinical standards, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of high- quality service provision within the bounds of clinical governance.
