Monday-Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week.
Our client is well- established, highly successful manufacturing company based in Telford. Due to continued growth, they are actively recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for a variety of accounts duties, along with some administration tasks.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
* Managing Debtors, allocating receipts and dealing with invoice queries
* Processing supplier invoices and dealing with queries
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Completing VAT returns
* Performing credit checks on new clients
* Reconciling bank statements and the general ledger
* Performing administrative duties
* Maintaining employee personnel records
Skills and Experience
* AAT L3 or 4-Desirable but not essential
* Strong bookkeeping skills
* General MS Office application knowledge
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Intuitive
* Hardworking
* Able to work under pressure
* Professional
* Knowledge of Sage 50/200 (not essential)
