About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children, individually or as classroom support.
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-resourced school where members of staff work closely together throughout the Key Stages.
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, enjoys working with children and understands how they learn.
The role involves supporting teachers with pupils’ learning. This might be through supporting learning during lessons or delivering interventions to individuals or groups of children.
The ideal candidate should have good literacy and numeracy skills and be enthusiastic, adaptable, have initiative and be able to work as part of a team. Additional training will be provided.
In addition to their other roles and responsibilities, Teaching Assistants are also required to provide lunchtime cover, either in the dining room or outside on the playground.
This is a fixed term, term time only contract to commence in September 2024.
