Job Description
Join the thriving and dynamic United Living Infrastructure Services team in Washington! As a rapidly growing business, we are excited to welcome a new Site Supervisor to contribute to our success. If you're looking for a long-term career opportunity with a Main Contractor, where you can develop your skills and be part of an industry-leading organisation, this role is for you.
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of United Living Water Limited Repair and Maintenance Contracts on Water. The individual will manage the site, ensuring the client's requirements are met while adhering to the company's health & safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.
Management of Construction Activities:
1. Safety: Ensuring site standards are maintained, assisting with risk assessments, accident investigations, site instructions, and inspections.
2. Production: Working to programme.
3. Quality: Ensuring standards of workmanship are maintained and completing quality records.
4. Problem Solving/Troubleshooting: Liaising with the Health & Safety Manager.
Working together to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results. Dealing with improvement notices and liaising with Water Operatives to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are achieved.
Management of Site Personnel:
1. Recruitment
2. Disciplinary
3. Manpower planning
4. Communication
5. Man-management
6. Control of plant, equipment, and materials
Administration:
1. Documentation: Quality records, as laid information, timesheets, work records, etc.
2. Any other duties reasonably assigned.
Qualifications:
1. NRSWA (Supervisors)
2. Water safety passports
3. Supervisory Management training
4. IOSH / SMSTS
5. Extensive experience of working on water
6. Full UK driving license
