We are working closely alongside a LocalAuthority in Sefton to assist with theappointment of a HR Business Partneron a 3month contract likely to beextended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV forimmediate consideration.
Rate ofPay: 18.55 23.20 per Hour
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that theCouncils sickness absence procedures are managed efficiently andeffectively and that the procedures are fully adhered to and thatliaison with TU representatives is conducted asappropriate.
* Ensure managers and othersupervisory staff are fully conversant with the sickness absencepolicy and procedures and have completed the necessary mandatorytraining. Produce communications to staff training and awarenessbriefing as required.
* Undertake indepthanalysis of the sickness absence data and produce statisticalreports for management as required.
* Ensurereasonableness and equality in all aspects of decisionmakingrelative to the implementation of the sickness absenceprocesses.
* Ensure that a robust methodology ismaintained relative to the sickness absence procedures and that anyfailure to adhere to the procedures is effectively managed to theensure futurecompliance.
Qualifications:
* Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
* experience in a Generalist HR Role or abilityto demonstrate related experience
* Experienceof negotiating/consultation and handling employee relations issuesand liaison with Trade Unionrepresentatives
