Pensions Data Analyst - Up to £40,000 - Hybrid Aylesbury

Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head of BPA Transitions with the successful onboarding of Bulk Purchase Annuity business to pricing and administration platform.
2. Liaise with key stakeholders during the implementation cycle to understand requirements, data, processes and systems, and to make recommendations.
3. Perform analysis of defined benefit datasets and report on accuracy, integrity and completeness of data from both pricing and administration perspectives.
4. Configure data parameters and perform transformation of data received from ceding pension scheme administrators.
5. Load data and complete control totals for audit purposes and upload to in-house platform in preparation for administration.
6. Monitor the quality of data and when errors are identified, take steps to rectify and prevent/minimise error repetition.
7. Analyse, resolve and fix incidents and defects within agreed turnaround times, liaising with colleagues and third-party suppliers as necessary
Core Competencies:
* Knowledge of defined benefits pension schemes, including data and benefit specifications.
* Experience of large pensions data migrations.
* Strong data analytical skills.
* Advanced MS Excel skills.
