Manage andimplement improvement plans driving Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) ensuring that Health Safety and Environmental requirementsare adhered to.
Manage the teams on technicalbest practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilstleading the department and mentoring directreports
Identification of potential lifecycledeficiencies produce capital budgets to match lifecycleexpectancies
Implement and manage continuousimprovement of maintenance services by highlighting recommendingchanges where necessary.
Mainresponsibilities
Responsible forthe implementation of best practice maintenance vision strategypolicies processes and procedures to aid and improve operationalperformance in particular the sustainable maintenance and thereduction of energy consumption strategy
Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review andcommunicate the impact on maintenance activities
Set and implement preventative maintenance programmes thus ensuringquality of the FF&E and plant equipment
Control invoices and external providers costs
Work with GMs to elaborate maintenance budget and ensure complianceof their hotel
Complete monthly energy reportsandrecord
COMPLIANCE
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental policies andprocedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff andguests
Inspect works to ensure compliance withrequired standards and performance targets and take correctiveaction under direction of line management asappropriate
Conduct risk assessments ofprocesses and tasks in the hotels under theirresponsibilities
PROJECTMANAGEMENT
Planning managing andcoordinating projects and maintenance works includingbudgets
Produce information analysis and reportsto ensure line management are informed of project/work progressproblems and agreed resolutions
Delivery smallscale projects (P&L) including lifecycle works ensuringperformance quality levels are met throughout risks to delivery aretreated in a timelymanner
RECRUITMENT &PERSONNELL
Recruit supervise andtrain maintenance team members
Manage coach anddevelop a high performing and autonomous maintenanceteam
Provide technical expertise and support tothe teams
Allocate the appropriate HumanResources in the cluster
Set departmentobjectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of directreports
Report on achievement of targets andidentify any actions required
Ensure thedelivery of the People Strategy within area ofaccountability
