KPMG Law is a fast-growing part of KPMG. We are now seeking to recruit a Senior Manager (Solicitor) to support the growth of the Commercial and Technology part of our Commercial, Technology and Data Legal team. Experience and Background:
The applicant should be a technology and outsourcing lawyer with at least 6 years’ PQE with knowledge of the relevant legal disciplines and experience of acting for clients on complex, strategic and/or international projects.
7. The applicant should have experience in contractual drafting and negotiation gained on national and international projects, across the following core disciplines: outsourcing arrangements (both ITO and BPO), IT arrangements (eg, systems integration, software licensing, IT services and IT infrastructure arrangements).
8. The applicant should have experience or an interest in lawtech.
9. The applicant should have business development experience to be able to lead relationship building (both within KPMG and direct with clients) and respond to client opportunities (whether through formal pitches or informal opportunities). A desire to contribute to our business development activities in an effective and business-minded manner is an important attribute for the role.
10. The applicant should have experience of working with demanding clients across a broad spectrum of size and activities and will be expert at service delivery.
11. The applicant should be expected to take responsibility for servicing and building part of the existing business of the team.
12. The applicant should help promote the team’s work through participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publication.
