Your new role
In your new role at this GOOD South Warwickshire school, you will be teaching science to KS3 and KS4 students in typical class sizes of 20–30 students. This is a full-time job, working on a supply basis. You will need to contribute to the safeguarding, welfare and personal care of students, acting as an effective role model. By ensuring this, you will contribute to the mission and values of the school. As this job is to work on a supply basis, you will not be required to carry out full teaching responsibilities. However, it would be preferred, should the school require you to do so at times. This would include planning and delivering engaging lessons and marking work. There is also a potential for this job to be a permanent position.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified teacher, with experience of teaching science to KS3 and KS4 students. By acting as a team player, as well as a leader, you will inspire those around you to succeed. You must bemitted to upholding and improving standards, with a greatmitment to safeguarding. The needs of SEN students must be understood, to enable you to positively impact their learning and development.
