Our client based in Wrexham area is currently recruiting an Accounts/Office Assistant to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis to work within their accounts department.
Performance Objectives
* Raising sales invoices and credit notes in sterling and euros.
* Entering and allocating sales ledger cash in sterling and euros.
* Chasing customers for payment where necessary.
* Processing credit card payments.
* Preparing cheques for banking.
* Completing sales ledger month end procedure.
* Entering purchase ledger invoices and credit notes in sterling, US dollars and euros.
* Entering purchase ledger payments in sterling, US dollars and euros.
* Checking purchase ledger invoices.
* Completing purchase ledger month end procedures.
* Producing month end purchase ledger pay run.
Person Specification
* Previous experience of working within an Accounts role.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure.
* AAT qualified would be desirable, but isn’t essential.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work within a team but also on own initiative.
* Able to commence new employment on the 6th January 2025.
