Are you a recent Psychology, Neuroscience or Sociology based degree graduate with a desire to find a role where you can provide detailed 1:1 & small group support to children with SEN as a Learning Support Assistant?
We are currently working with an exemplary Alternative Provision school based in the Walsall area who are eager to add a dedicated, outgoing and passionate Learning Support Assistant to their KS3 department for the coming academic year in a full-time role.
In this role, the successful candidate will be tailoring 1:1 & small group academic, social and emotional support to students based around a structured Education Health Care Plan.

Learning Support Assistant – Role Information:
1. Providing 1:1, small group and class support to KS3 students with SEN
2. Working alongside experienced teacher throughout lesson time
3. Creating engaging and cohesive learning experience for students
4. Ability to work both inside and out of the classroom key
5. Paid £460 per week during term time – FREE online CPD courses included
6. Monday to Friday role until July 2025 – Option for permanent role
7. Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:
9. Minimum 2:2 UK based Psychology, Sociology or Behaviour based degree
10. Prior experience teaching, tutoring or working with children
11. Naturally outgoing and dependable individual
12. Passionate about the chance to work with children
13. Eager to secure full-time role in education
14. *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
15. Enhanced DBS desirable
