Location: Huddersfield Position Type: Full-Time (Term Time Only) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Salary: £200 per day About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Huddersfield. This is a full-time position during term time, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students about the diverse and rich field of religious studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality RE lessons that align with the national curriculum. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources. Participate in school events, parent evenings, and continuous professional development sessions. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and development. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field is highly desirable. Previous experience teaching RE at the secondary school level is preferred. Strong knowledge of different religions and belief systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
