Travel Team Officer
We are looking for a Travel Team Officer to work with one of our public sector clients and assist in supporting the travel requirements for a worldwide IT rollout.
This is a hybrid working role with the expectancy to attend the office based in Milton Keynes 3 days a week and work from home 2 days
This an 6 month temporary position (with a possibility of extension) but one in which you would be able to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.
37 hours per week between 08:00am - 18:00pm Mon - Fri.
Pay rate £14.32 per hour
Key Responsibilities
o Act as the point of contact between travelers, associated support functions and the travel provider to manage, support and arrange travel requests. Escalating as appropriate.
o Ensure travel options meet customer requirements and are in line with the booking process and travel policy.
o Evaluate travel routes and provide recommendations that show value for money and efficiencies where possible
o Accurately maintain records within the team and databases including trip files, visa and passport data base.
o Day-to-day management of own workload, prioritising work efficiently and effectively to ensure all deadlines are successfully met.
o Follow agreed processes, flag irregularities and escalate issues
o Continually ensure value for money, offering appropriate challenge to colleagues and third party suppliers where necessary.
o Booking of travel using FCM ensuring duty of care to travelling staff

o High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
