Vendor Manager - Renewable Energy Group - West London

They are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager where you will be instrumental in managing their contractual relationships from negotiation through to enforcement and risk management.
In this role, you'll establish streamlined processes to collect, consolidate, and communicate vendor agreements, ensuring clarity and transparency across the board. Your responsibilities will include establishing performance metrics to balance quality, timeliness of delivery, and cost-effectiveness, driving strategic improvements through vendor contract integration and cost optimization initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for contract oversight - from negotiation through to enforcement of contractual obligations and risk management.
2. Establish processes to collect, consolidate and communicate vendor agreements.
3. Responsible for establishing performance metrics - balancing quality, timeliness of delivery and cost-effectiveness.
4. Responsible for the delivery of strategic improvements through vendor contract integration and cost optimisation.
5. Establish and measure performance levels from vendor onboarding throughout the entire relationship.
6. Work with stakeholders within the group to ensure vendor roadmaps align with company strategy.
Skills & Experiences
7. Good experience in vendor management or a related field e.g. asset management, IT outsource management, sourcing, and procurement.
8. A strong grasp of procurement processes and the intricacies of supply chain.
9. Evidenced experience in sourcing and category strategies.
10. Adept at negotiating contracts with a fundamental understanding of contract terms.
11. Excellent analytical, written and influencing skills.
12. Excellent project management skills.
13. Confident, credible, persuasive, and a collaborative team-player.
14. Strong analytical skills, technology, and system knowledge.
15. Strong ability to challenge, influence and direct internal stakeholders.
16. Ability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities.
