The role of Maintenance Surveyor in Oxfordshire would ideally suit someone with a background in Social Housing Repairs such as Supervisor, Clerk of Works, Manager or Surveyor.

Duties for the position of Maintenance Surveyor include:
1. Taking the lead on all repairs, compliance, planned maintenance and capital works within a defined geographical area with effective estate ownership.
2. Commissioning works and monitoring the output of the client's contractors.
3. Managing varied workstreams and commissioning contractors, reporting on exceptions and ensuring that agreed timescales and quality are achieved.
4. Working collaboratively with other Maintenance Surveyors to ensure consistency in the client’s approach.
5. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Maintaining records and providing reports to the Manager on progress.
7. Contributing to the creation of future programmed work.
8. Bringing enthusiasm, energy and a “can do” attitude to the role.
9. Demonstrable knowledge of current property legislation, including but not limited to, damp and mould, section 20 process, compliance, disrepair and decent homes.
