Ventilation Surveys and Services are a nationwide business that delivers Ductwork Cleaning, Air Conditioning and Fire Compliance projects throughout the UK. We undertake works for large FM Companies, Government and local authorities, healthcare, retail and leisure sectors.
From start-up in 2010 the business has grown to employ 74 staff and has revenues that exceed £7.0 million per annum, and revenue for 2024 is expected to exceed £7.2 million with 15-20% targeted revenue growth predicted for 2025.
The business is run from a new purpose-built HQ in Liverpool with regional offices in London and Belfast. Most staff work remotely as customer site-based operational teams supported by the Central Management, Finance and Administration teams.

We are market leaders in our field and have experienced exceptional growth and are looking for an ambitious contract management orientated individual. The role will work closely with the Sales Executives on current VSS accounts and support and attend new enquiries where requested. The Contract Manager will create quotes for Sales executives for sign off and ensure that site survey forms, including RAMS and parts and material lists are produced and accurate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to cover our Southern region, responsible for building relationships on site and developing growth on each account through offering other services and remedial works throughout the duration of the contract period.
You will be tasked with building relationships with current VSS accounts through continual data gathering, regular communication and face to face meetings. Support the Sales Executives to build a pipeline of repeat and PPM works which is visible on company CRM system, whilst ensuring effective planning is in place for each account through working closely with the VSS planning/operations department and customer specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Relationships: Develop, build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our ventilation and fire compliance service offerings to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
* Pricing works: Price new and remedial works with Sales executive sign off. Ensure all company procedures and policies are adhered to in regard to the pricing of works. Complete site surveys where required for new business and extra services on existing accounts.
* Customer satisfaction: Ensure all Accounts / contracts are delivered to high level from point of initial contact through to collection of invoiced value.
* Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales executives, marketing, operational and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment of sales strategies. Communicate information to the site staff and the Operations department including detailed quotations, PO’s, RAMS, and relevant site instructions. Attend site to assist with problematic jobs.
* Attention to detail: Produce specific RAMS and project plans for each job and ensure these are entered into the VSS CRM system prior to any works commencing. Ensure good health and safety practices are followed in all aspects of the business.
* Budget control: Ensure all jobs are delivered on time and in budget, and to the agreed profit margins.
* Target driven: Ensure each account is invoiced on agreed dates and post clean reports are checked and returned to each client on agreed timeframe of within agreed KPI’s.
* Sales: Generate new leads whilst on site and grow existing accounts. Identify and develop new and existing business opportunities to increase revenue and broaden client base and scope of services offered. Attend weekly and quarterly Sales meetings for VSS.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Contract Manager or similar role, preferably in the ventilation or HVAC industry.
* Education: NVQ Level 3 or Above, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Pay: £34,000.00-£39,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

Willingness to travel:
* 50% (preferred).
