Eden Scott are delighted to be supporting our leading client to recruit for a Payroll Manager to join their People team.
This newly created position will play a key role in supporting payroll operations across various regions. The ideal candidate will have prior UK or UK/Overseas payroll experience within a HR/People background (Finance candidates are also open to applying). The successful candidate will have strong vendor management experience, who can adapt to change and drive process improvements.
While the preferred location is the clients Edinburgh office, the role is also open to candidates in the clients Glasgow office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Managing payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across all offices
2. Assist in the preparation of statutory reports - P11D's, PSA
3. Ensure payroll processes comply with international tax regulations and statutory obligations
4. Collaborate with reward and shares teams to support initiatives
5. Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes and streamlining operations
6. Working closely with internal teams (HR, Finance) to reduce dependency on key personnel
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
1. UK Payroll experience - overseas experience is also advantageous
2. Managing payroll vendors and complex payroll processes
3. Knowledge of statutory reporting requirements (P11Ds, PSA) and audit support
4. Proactive and collaborative individual, with initiative to drive continuous improvement
5. Ability to adapt to a changing environment
