Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to Roke employees on various HSE matters.
* Support the objectives of Roke's HSE management systems and strategies.
* Conduct internal audits of HSE management systems.
* Deliver comprehensive Health and Safety inductions to new employees.
* Collaborate in HSE meetings, working groups, steering committees, and other forums to contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
* Participate in or lead HSE investigations as needed.
* Manage HSE training requirements and platforms.
* Coordinate with HR on occupational health, display screen equipment assessments, and other necessary adjustments.
* Assist in EcoOnline reviews and ensure accurate input of employee and environmental data.
* Support the planning and execution of external audits, including ISO 45001, 45003, and 14001 management standards.
* Ensure proper management and storage of HSE-related documents and artifacts for accessibility by stakeholders.
The Key Requirements...
* NEBOSH HSE certificate (essential or working towards)
* Proficiency in functional HSE management systems.
* Familiarity with statutory tools and resources for decision support HSE and Environment Agency websites).
* Strong understanding of competency and when to provide advice.
* Experience in internal investigation and audits is desirable.
* Knowledge of ISO management standards 45001/3 and 14001 is advantageous.

ROMSEY - Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.
