Saïd Business School (Oxford Saïd) is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of HR and Employee Experience. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for the effective management of our HR function, providing strategic leadership to an exceptional team of HR Business Partners and HR Shared Services professionals. Reporting directly to the Director of People and OD, you will be at the heart of transforming employee experience and leading the professional HR service within Oxford Saïd. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead HR Strategy and Vision: Spearhead and inspire a professional HR team, driving key HR initiatives that align with our School’s mission and future goals. With a focus on progressive and inclusive practices, you will shape Oxford Saïd’s HR landscape.
2. Strategic Workforce Planning: Build a resilient and agile workforce through strategic planning, partnering closely with senior School leaders to anticipate and meet future talent needs.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making: Oversee HR system development and workforce data reporting, equipping our leadership team and Board with data insights to guide strategic decisions.
4. Enhance Our EVP: Innovate and continually refine our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to ensure Oxford Saïd remains an attractive and fulfilling place to work. You’ll play a lead role in curating a compelling employee experience, showcasing our benefits, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
5. Wellbeing and Employee Relations: Develop our employee wellbeing strategy and drive initiatives that enhance staff wellbeing and foster a positive culture. Champion positive engagement between management and staff, promoting clarity in roles and responsibilities.
6. Continuous Improvement and Customer Service: Collaborate with key stakeholders to refine our service offering, policies, and HR communications. You’ll ensure a responsive and high-quality HR service, evolving the HR intranet for ease of access and relevance.
