We’re looking for a Financial Control Analyst – P2P Analyst to join our Insurance and Money Services team.
Insurance and Money Services is a newly formed business within Tesco Group, with a remit to provide Tesco customers with great products across everyday Finance needs such as Insurance and Travel money. Given this is a newly formed business, this role will provide the opportunity to be a part of a new Financial Control team with the remit ofcost ledger and related Balance Sheet.
This role will be key in delivering an efficient and controlled Procure to Pay (P2P) process to ensure supplier payments are made within contracted timescales.
To do this, you’ll provide subject matter expertise and constructive challenge to drive best practice across the business for P2P.You will forge strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.In addition, you will also have exposure to other Costs and Treasury processes as we develop our future ways of working, making this a great development opportunity.
Please note, internally this role is known as FC Product Analyst.
What you’ll be doing
Key roles and responsibilities:
1. Supporting the procure to pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning,
2. Working with the business to ensure processes are followed and costs are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
3. Supporting the month end close process, including journal posting and reconciliations.
4. Reviewing key metrics and information, and performing root cause analysis when required.
5. Working as part of a team to support Financial Control colleagues with other IMS activities including Accounts Receivable, Intercompany and Treasury processes as required.
6. Maintaining the control environment, ensuring risks are identified and appropriate controls are operating effectively.

10. Ability to build relationships across a Finance function
