Experienced Substation Site Manager Needed in Tilbury

Our client, a leading high voltage engineering company, is seeking an experienced substation site manager to oversee the closing out of their latest project at Tilbury. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technology and make significant contributions towards renewable energy solutions.
Overview:
As our new substation site manager for this contract position located in Tilbury, your primary responsibility will be overseeing all aspects of the control building, HDD drilling works and plenty of HV ducting. You'll need strong leadership skills as you supervise subcontractors while ensuring that health & safety guidelines are adhered to throughout every phase of construction.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operations on-site
2. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
3. Oversee quality assurance/quality control procedures
4. Coordinate closely with clients regarding schedule updates or changes
Qualifications Required:
To qualify for consideration as our next Substation Site Manager we require someone who has experience managing similar projects from start-up through close-out phases successfully. Additionally, candidates must possess good communication skills both written/oral; excellent people management abilities coupled with solid financial acumen necessary when dealing with budgets related matters during construction processes.

2. Grid site; however, Grid tickets not required
Skills Desired:
We're looking specifically for individuals who have previously worked within the High Voltage Engineering sector, preferably having demonstrable knowledge about Control Building/HDD Drilling Works Management along with other relevant areas such as Project Planning/Scheduling techniques which would enable them to deliver successful outcomes consistently over timeframes typically associated with these types of large-scale infrastructure builds while staying focused on details important for achieving success.
Rate/Pay Structure:
The selected candidate can expect highly competitive rates starting at £450 per day. You will be able to work either Ltd/CIS or Umbrella.
