Your new role
As the Social Work Team Manager, you will lead, manage, and guide a high-calibre team of social workers. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining effectivemunication, promoting best practice, and ensuring the delivery of quality services within a fast-paced environment.
1. Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and supervision to social workers.
2. Oversee the assessment of referrals, identifying risks, and prioritising cases.
3. Work closely with partner agencies, including police, health, and education professionals.
4. Ensure adherence to statutory guidelines, policies, and procedures.
5. Make informed decisions regarding child protection and safeguarding.
6. Monitor team performance, address challenges, and celebrate achievements.
7. Support continuous learning and development for team members.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Registered with Social Work England.
9. Significant post-qualification experience, preferably within MASH teams.
10. Up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
11. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.
12. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
13. Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
14. Ideally to have DBS on the update service to ensure a quick start.
