About the Role:
As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will have a key role in supporting and teaching pupils with diverse needs, such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual pupil needs
* Creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support progress and development
* Collaborating closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and parents to provide holistic support
* Using a range of strategies to manage behavior effectively and positively
* Assessing and tracking the progress of pupils, ensuring they reach their full potential
About You:
We are looking for a committed and empathetic teacher who is:
* Experienced in teaching primary-age pupils with SEN, ideally within an inclusive or specialist school setting
* Knowledgeable in developing and implementing personalized learning strategies
* A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
* Dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Strong in communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
