Full-time Science teacher, Sefton
Hays Education are working with a mixed secondary school who are seeking an outstanding classroom teacher to teach science full-time starting January 2025 on a permanent contract between KS3 and KS4. This high school is rated "Good" on their latest Ofsted inspection with students showing "positive attitudes to their learning" and which "creates a calm environment" throughout the school day. We work closely with this school to provide day to day staffing needs, long-term supply and permanent placements. Your new role
You will be supporting the Science department by teaching Physics, Biology and Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 full-time. In order to be a full-time science teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst always demonstrating a professional manor.
