* You’ll work fromhome some of the time, but you’ll also spend a minimum of 1 day perweek working from the Edinburgh or Manchesteroffice
Whatyou'll do
As a Cyber ThreatHunting Analyst, you’ll work at a domain level to understand andensure robust security is continuously considered and incorporatedat every stage, programme increment and feature team deliverythroughout the development lifecycle and through tosupport.
You’ll collaboratewith feature teams and participate in story refinement, sprintplanning and retrospective sessions, establishing a culture ofinnovation and strategic thinking that makes sure that the bank hasknowledge of, and opportunities to exploit, the latest developmentsin your area ofspecialism.
You’ll alsobe:
* Conductingthreat hunts to proactively hunt for the presence of threatindicators across the Natwest Groupestate
* Working with threat intelligence tounderstand the key threats to Natwest Group and establish methodsfor detection of identified threat groups
* Useknowledge to support the wider organization in building andoperating secured services that protect both out colleagues ancustomers
* Supporting with the identification ofrisks, while contributing to risk management strategies to achievebusiness objectives and customeroutcomes
* Understanding and implementing Agilemethodologies and actively contributing to finding opportunities tobuild security early into design
* Making surethat decisions made are based on robust data, return on investmentand value measures that demonstrate thoughtful and intelligent costmanagement
* Actively contributing to your centreof excellence (CoE) specialism by cross sharing learnings and bestpractice with CoE and community of practicecolleagues
* Building and leveragingrelationships with colleagues across the bank and third parties toensure decisions made are commercially focused and create long termvalue for theorganisation
Theskills you'll need
To besuccessful in this role, you’ll need knowledge of one or moresecurity subject areas and experience of setting risk appetites.You’ll also demonstrate experience of, or a willingness to learnrisk managementframeworks.
Additionally,you’ll need:
* Abackground of working in an Operation Securityrole
* A good understanding of the latest threatsand various disciplines across Security and bring a wealth ofknowledge in Security related topics
* Exposureto cloud security technologies
* The ability tocommunicate clearly and concisely, translating technical issuesinto business terms
