The Mechatronics engineer will focus on the development of low voltage (DC) power distribution systems for data centre infrastructures. The successful candidate will report directly to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for the development and design of electromechanical components and products in the field of low-voltage technology. Responsibilities include performing thermal and mechanical simulations of power distribution systems (busbars) and developing innovative solutions in collaboration with other specialist departments.
As the Mechatronics Engineer you will be expected to lead developing and supporting digital data models (digital twin), providing technical product support from the design phase through to series production, and actively supporting prototype construction and subsequent test monitoring. Expertise in designing and developing products for mass production settings is essential, along with the ability to support the mechanical engineering team as needed.
The ideal candidate will have completed studies or training in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a similar qualification. Experience with low voltage DC distribution s...
