We’re seeking an experienced Medical Content Manager to join us at mccglc, a creative event agency based in Shoreditch, London.
The Medical Content Manager role is an essential one within mccglc, leading the way in managing and delivering innovative content across the globe. The successful candidate will have a positive approach to challenges, be self-motivated, multi-tasking, process-driven and have a passion for excellence.
Your job role and responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end event management of managing content, mainly within the medical/pharmaceutical industry across meetings, conferences and exhibitions
* Consultation for content/engagement objectives and setting measures of success
* Work on and with client-provided document management technology platforms (i.e., Veeva PromoMats / MedComms, FUSE etc.) as content owner when appropriate, uploading documents, providing reference anchoring and annotations as required to ensure the review process is seamless
* Provides direction and works closely with internal creatives and the client to deliver on client projects efficiently and effectively
* Responsible to ensure management and compliance with industry standards and codes of practice
* Able to work independently to develop high-quality, scientifically accurate, strategically aligned, ethical, and compliant medical content
* Responsible to proactively flag and manage any quality issues, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
* Management of junior colleagues to deliver projects (although not direct line management) and work closely with the Senior Content Producer
You will report directly to the Head of Project Management ensuring that they are kept fully informed of progress in each project
Your key skills:
A good understanding and a passion for developing content across an array of platforms: Live and Virtual Events, Digital, Film, Print etc.
* At least 2 years-experience in a med-comms or pharmaceutical events based agency
* Demonstrates a strong track record of delivering complex content projects on time and to a high standard
* Experience with liaising with multi-brand stakeholders throughout the medical and legal compliance and content approval processes in relation to digital, interactive and print content
* Excellent personnel and time management skills
Experience managing multiple projects at once, with the ability to prioritize and guide teams effectively.
Experience in working with or as a medical copywriter is a plus
* You must have immaculate attention to detail and be able to demonstrate excellent financial management being able to manage complex event budgets.
* Experience using Google Drive Suite, Microsoft Office and time management and budget software (such as Procim, Hive)
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Fluency in spoken and written English and have the right to work in the UK
