We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Ward Manager to lead our dynamic healthcare team. The Ward Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing staff performance and development, and overseeing the efficient day-to-day operations of the ward. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and productive working environment.

Main duties of the job
As a Nurse Team Manager you will lead and manage the ward team to deliver exceptional patient care.
1. Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and standards.
2. Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
3. Manage ward resources effectively, including budgeting and supplies.
4. Address and resolve patient and family concerns promptly and professionally.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
6. Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
7. Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
