Job Advert: SEN Teaching Assistant (Reception)
Location: Bedford
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Bedford, working specifically with a Reception student.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support to a Reception student with special educational needs, fostering their learning and development.
* Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
* Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to monitor progress and share feedback.
* Support the student during lessons, playtime, and other school activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (preferred).
* A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
