Job summary
We currently have the following Band 3 Health Care Support Worker vacancies within the East Area Evening & Overnight District Nursing Service:
Overnight Service - Band 3 18 hours per week - Hours of work pm - am
Evening Service - Band 3 10 hours per week - Hours of work pm - pm
The Service operates across Wrexham and Flintshire counties and the team are based in Wrexham.
Full induction into the posts will be supported, with opportunities for further career development.
Main duties of the job
The role will be to support the Registered Nurse in delivery of planned and unplanned patient care to patients and offer support to formal and informal carers in their own homes and care homes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

2. Qualification Credit Framework Level 111 (in Care / Health & Social Care) or working towards
3. Knowledge of consent and patient confidentiality
4. Understanding of role and function of Primary Health Care team

7. Understanding of risk management and health and safety issues
