Deputy Manager - Children's Home, Rochdale
Salary: £31k - £34.5k plus bonuses
I am currently assisting a well-established care provider for children and young adults in recruiting a Deputy Manager for their children's home in Rochdale.
The Home is fully equipped with amazing staff and support, so you'll have everything you need when you join this 4-bed EBD home.

The ideal Deputy Manager must:
1. Have experience working with OFSTED
2. Have experience working in the social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) sector
3. Good understanding of BESD children, including strategies used to manage challenging behaviour
4. Have at least 2 years' experience in Children's residential care
5. Experience working with children aged 8-15 years
6. Have a Full UK Driving Licence
The duties of the Deputy Manager include but are not limited to:
1. Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education
2. Liaising with Local Authorities, schools, health, and other professionals to ensure the very best outcomes for the young people we care for
3. Ensuring the positive development of young people in care
4. Using the community to support the social and learning aspects of young people
5. Providing leadership and guidance to the team
6. Managing staff welfare, staff absence, etc.
7. Ensuring the home is Health and Safety compliant
8. Supporting the Registered Manager and leading the team when the Manager is absent
