One of the world’s leading entertainment companies is seeking to hire an Insurance & Risk Manager. The campany has over people across the group produce around major entertainment projects every year across 10 markets. The events include festivals, tours, cruises and one-offs.
The appointee will be based at the head office, in London’s West End.. The role will work across the business to develop and improve existing risk management processes, and to optimise the global procurement of insurance for our group and our local businesses.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Insurance
1. Ensure all parts of the group’s activities are covered by suitable insurance
2. Optimise insurance placements to ensure effective coverage at the most economical cost
3. Maintain accurate records of all insurance placements and key terms
4. Maintain comprehensive records of all insurance notifications and claims
5. Advise legal and commercial teams on insurance provision; provide options for optimisation.
6. Act as key point of contact for centralised insurance programmes, including commercial negotiation and administrative workflows
7. Support business stakeholders with local insurance placements
8. Support business stakeholders with management of claims, together with legal and finance teams
Risk Management
9. Maintain a corporate risk register, with input from our risk committee
10. Collate and categorise reported accidents, incidents and occurrences
11. Monitor the suitability and sufficiency of existing risk management processes (including training, oversight, documentation, insurance) and propose corrective actions.
12. Support the nominated person for Health and Safety for matters relating to global and regional holdings; maintain plans and documents; implement training and reporting as required
13. Provide co-ordination with other risk and safety specialists in the group
